A: well, I guess it's kind of like a warm-up. I've been trying to keep doing this, these past few years. For at least 30 minutes. It's not even phrases anymore. It's just a practice excercises, so it's really random. I don't really care. I just touch it, and get myself used to it.

* "gyuutan" is cow's tongue. "tanto otabe" is kind of like baby talk saying "eat it all up", but he gradually changes that to "eat it with cow's tongue". It's hard to explain...

** this word is "san dan ochi" which means you say 3 similar things, but the last one is completely off, and it makes you say "WHAT?"

*** they say "boku to" which is "with me" in boy-words.

* "Happy Turn" is a Japanese cracker/snack

I've been really busy this past week, and I'm going out of town this weekend, so I'll update when I come back home.

I promise I'll have some translations up by Tuesday!!

I was reading over my translation for the DVD, but it looks very bad...
I think you need to watch the DVD as you read the translations or you won't understand...
Maybe someone can sub it so it makes much more sense -_-;;

Also, as I was translating, I looked at a lot of Japanese live reports to get more background information on these tour lives. So if you want, I can add some information for each live and just give some more explanation to each city's live...

I was reading all the live reports, but they all sounded like so much fun, and they had much more MC than what was included in the DVD!!

Please just tell me if you're interested in more background information and I can post a seperate post with those.

This is just a personal entry, not really "directly" related to Plastic Tree, but...

Thank you to everyone who had added me!!
I finally added you too.

I didn't add until now because I thought it didn't really make a difference, since my posts weren't private, but...
I noticed it's nice to just add as a friend ^_^

So, I'll try to keep posting more and more fun Plastic Tree things so I'm not a "boring friend"!

My upcoming "project" is translating the Merry Go Around The World DVD.

They're safely back home!!!!
It looks like they had a pretty hectic 2 weeks.
Bucchi says the skin on his hands are peeling. He must've been playing so hard!

Whenever Japanese people come back home from overseas they always say they cry when they eat Japanese food. Bucchi ate at Dennys and felt like crying!!
I wonder what kind of food Japanese Dennys has...

Ryuutarou's Pet Cat

I might be late on news, but I was reading this magazine, and it said
Ryuutarou got a new cat!!
It's a Bombay cat named "Kuro" which means "Black" in Japanese. It's a male.

When Ryuutarou is not home, Kuro stays over at this "Mr. N"'s house, he's the chief of Zy's editorial department. That's Kuro's "home-stay place".
I guess this "Mr. N" was telling Ryuutarou that he's a cat-type of person, and that he should get a cat. And Ryuutarou even went to meet some breeders to see if he could get a cat, but he didn't feel like he could keep one.
But then one time when he did a photoshoot at a temple, there was a cat there, and he felt a connection with it. So then a couple years later when someone said that a person was looking for a foster parent for a black cat, he went to go apply for it. And that cat got on Ryuutarou's knees and he felt connected to it, but that cat went to someone else instead.
So he was a little depressed from that incident, but just at that moment, "Mr.N" told him there's this ugly black cat at a petshop. Ryuutarou just went to go look at it, but the instant he saw him, he fell in love. He said there's no exact reason why he bought him. He didn't even think about it.

After Ryuutarou got a cat, he said he was surprised at how close they came up to you. He says Kuro comes into his bed too. But one thing that's hard is that he gets waken up so early in the morning. He says the cat licks him all over with his rough tongue and tries so hard to wake him up. He says Kuro always makes this snuffing noise with his nose and he tries to greet him by sticking his nose close, but he always sneezes and puts water on him.
Ryuutarou says: "he's actually really impolite, but that's still really cute(laugh)"
He says the other day when he was in the shower, he ran out of shampoo so he just used the cat shampoo that was there. He says it just worked fine normally.

His little note to Kuro:
It's good that I bought you, but I'm really sorry I've been sending you off to be taken care by other people... I will concentrate more on being the pet-owner.

I'm reading all these interviews with Ryuutarou and he keeps saying how personal "Kioku Yuki" is!!

He says it's his recent personal experience and it's so real, that he gets embarassed so much that he can't even listen to that song.
He said it's something he's been meaning to write, but wasn't sure if he should publish it into Plastic Tree's album since it's so personal.
But if he doesn't write it, he can't move forward so he wrote it.

I kind of want to know this story, but at the same time I don't...
I guess Ryuutarou does have someone special to him...
I mean, it's obvious he must have a girlfriend or something, but just really realizing that is kind of shocking...

I'm just a fan, not a stalker so please don't get the wrong impression!
It's just a really hard hit into reality...-_-;;

YAY my album arrived today ^_^
The booklet really IS nice. Just like Akira said.
I'm glad I got the limited edition too. The Asakusa performance was beautiful.

Even though a lot of people are translating the Utsusemi album lyrics, I thought I'd just do it too.
It doesn't hurt to have a lot of translations I think...

They're doing another one this year~ I'm happy

Today I took "Utsusemi", and went to go meet Murakami "Ponta" Shuichi sensei.
Of course, I went to go give him the album.
The reason why, is because before on this blog I wrote about the "Ponta Model", but I used that on this time's album.
It's not like I'm repaying him or anything, but I'm putting my feelings of gratitude in it, and saying "thank you for letting me use it!"

"I'm using 5.8 on this and this!"
"Got it. Let me listen to it."
Well of course, I was scared...

He did tell me the bad parts in the beginning though. Already from the very first one.
"You have to go like this here!"
"I'm sorry! But, I think this is the highest rank, what do you think!?"
"Yes, I understand. It's UK Rock! Your choices are correct."

I was happy...
I thought I'd get yelled at more than that...I was seriously scared...

Today was the first time I drank one-on-one with him.
I need to go buy the unit he's doing right now called 7 ~Seven~.
It looks like they finally let out a DVD, and he said "you can enjoy that one more!" so,
I need to go hurry up and buy it~.
Some amazing members are grouped up in there, so I'm excited to watch it.
